Crown & Laurel at dusk: a columned portico, fountain courtyard and lantern-lit grounds

Niagara Wine Country · Opening Spring 2027

Crown & Laurel at Hinterland Estate

A Pantheon-inspired wedding venue on a working heritage farm. One wedding a day, and the whole estate is yours.

Marble-toned columns, golden statuary and a fountain courtyard, set at the edge of a pasture that is home to Ontario's largest herd of miniature Highland cattle. It's European grandeur with farm-country soul, about eighty minutes from Toronto.

The Venue

Inspired by the Pantheon.
Rooted in the pasture.

Crown & Laurel pairs classical architecture with the open landscape of Hinterland Estate. Say your vows in the fountain courtyard, framed by columns and statuary, or under the portico when the weather turns.

The pavilion is fully covered and climate-controlled, so there is always a plan B that looks like a plan A. Inside, a full catering kitchen, a bridal suite and a grooms' lounge keep the day running quietly behind the scenes.

  • Ceremony Fountain courtyard or covered portico
  • Reception Climate-controlled pavilion

The Herd

The guests nobody forgets

Our miniature Highlands join cocktail hour at the pasture fence, with a handler on hand. The herd is raised halter-free and greets guests on their own terms. They always come over.

Couples can book golden-hour portraits in the south pasture for photographs you won't find at any other venue in Ontario.

Questions

Good to know

When can we book?

Crown & Laurel opens in Spring 2027. The waitlist is open now, and waitlisted couples choose their dates before booking opens to the public.

Can we come and see the venue?

Yes. Viewings are by appointment. Use the form below and we'll find a time that works for you.

How many guests can you host?

Ceremonies and receptions from 30 to 150 guests. We host one wedding per day, so the estate is entirely yours.

Can the cows really be part of our wedding?

Yes, and it's the best part. Our miniature Highlands join cocktail hour at the pasture fence with a handler, and couples can book golden-hour portraits in the pasture.

Do you allow outside caterers?

Yes. The venue includes a full catering kitchen. We keep a short list of preferred Niagara caterers and winery partners, but you're free to bring your own.

What if it rains?

The pavilion is fully covered and climate-controlled, and the portico shelters the ceremony. The courtyard and pasture moments flex around the forecast.

Is there accommodation nearby?

The Farmhouse is steps from the venue, and our partner residences nearby can host the rest of your party. Ask us about wedding-party blocks.
